Dynamic Fields Configuration - Groups

In this article, we'll explore what dynamic field groups are and walk you through the process of creating a group step-by-step.

On the platform we find dynamic fields for Leads, Clients, Opportunities, Institutions, Partners, Companies, Products and Incidents.
Groups will help us to keep dynamic fields more organized and structured. In addition, grouping fields into groups makes it even easier to manage and access information when needed. We can do this for customer and opportunity dynamic fields.

Warning
It is mandatory that the dynamic customer and opportunity fields have a specific group associated to be created.

Creating groups step by step:

1) In the dynamic fields section, we access the “Clients” or “Opportunity” tab.

2)   At the top right, we click on the “+ Group” button and enter the name of the group we want to create (example: Client Data, Extra Info)

3) Once we have the group, to view the different groups created, we will have to click on "Show by" and select the groups option.

4) If we want to change the name of the created group, just click on the 3 dots on the right of our created group and give it the name we want:

5)   If we want to consult the grouped dynamic fields of an opportunity, we will have to access “Opportunities” from the sidebar. Once inside the desired opportunity, we access the “ Fields to fill in” tab and we can check that we have the grouped dynamic fields.

Info
Similarly, the names of the created groups will be visible to the end customer in the Customer Portal if a dynamic field (associated with a group) is configured to be displayed in that tool.

In the "Edit Opportunity" and "Edit Client" sections you can view the dynamic fields that have been created, structured by groups. These dynamic fields will be displayed as they are in the "Fields to fill in" tab of an Opportunity.
