At this point, an email configuration window will open. Here, we will find many aspects that will help us design and define the content of our template.
First, we will give the template a name. This way, we will be able to identify it in the rest of the sections of the platform.
Next, we will configure the subject of the email, that is, the text that will appear to the recipient (client) when they receive the email.
At the top right, we can see that we can attach files to our emails. We can configure our email template to always be sent with one or more attached documents by default.
It should be clarified that the document attached in this case is a fixed document , it is not a report that will be generated with variables and data specific to the opportunity/client.
Just below the section for attaching documents, we see the option to attach company documents. This will allow us to send documents saved on the platform. We just have to press the “Company” button and choose the document we want to send.
At the bottom, we find a series of buttons. From here, we can give the email structure and design. We can add columns, buttons, dividing lines, headers, images, a menu with different styles, as well as text.
We can use Artificial Intelligence to generate and/or adapt text and images according to the needs we set.
It is worth noting that this part is customizable and, therefore, it is advisable to spend some time creating templates and consulting the articles that discuss this section.
As we can see, we also have a desktop and mobile view available to ensure that the content is tailored to our needs on both screens.
We can configure a different layout for web viewing and for mobile devices. Once we have configured the body of the email, we can modify its structure from the left side. We can move all the elements to our liking, to give it the desired design.
In emails, we can add variables so that the platform takes the value we want to show for each specific client. To find out which variables we can use, we have to go to the left side menu, and from there, go to "Email templates".
Once inside, we will click on “email variables”. This option will allow us to create generic templates that can be automatically customized for each email. For example, we can introduce the variable “|client_name|” so that, in each email, this variable takes the value entered for the client’s name.
In an email, we can use variables of the "Client" type.
Finally, when the email template is to our liking, we click on the "Save" button that we will see at the top right.
