In this article, we will learn how to set up periodic exports to extract data that is on the platform and that is of interest to us.
By generating exports periodically, we will have a compilation of the desired information automatically and periodically, since we will have indicated on the platform who should receive this information, on what days and at what time.
Where can I find this option? → Left side menu → Settings → Periodic exports. In order to create, download or delete exports, the user must have group permissions enabled. "Data exports templates".
Once we are in the "Periodic Exports" section, we only have to configure the export we want from the menu we find on the right.
First, we select the type of export we want to perform. We can configure an export with data from leads, opportunities, clients, projects, incidents or users.
Next, we select the type of export template we want to use. We need to create export templates before creating a periodic export.
At this point, we will choose which days of the week we want to generate our exports. For example, we may want to generate a periodic export of leads on Fridays and Sundays to compare how many leads we received during the week and during the weekend.
We must also mark the time at which we want to generate this export.
Finally, we will choose the format in which we want this export (.xlsx or .csv) and the emails that should receive this export periodically.
If we want the export to reach more than one email address, we just have to click on "add" to add as many emails as we want.
Once we have our periodic export configured to our liking, we click on "Save" to record this information and start generating the exports.
