How can I create new activity types?

In this article, we will explore in detail the "Activity Types" section, a fundamental tool within the platform that allows you to create and manage different events, according to the needs of your operation. This feature not only makes it easier to classify and organize activities related to sales and customer service, but also improves the ability to track and control your team's actions.

By customizing activity types, we can tailor the platform to the specifics of our business strategy, allowing us to more accurately and efficiently monitor customer interactions.

Where can I find this option? → Settings Activity Types
Remember that in order to perform actions on the activities, you must have the following permissions activated: Activities

To create new types of activity we must access the "Activity types" section of the platform and then click on "Create activity type". We must name the type of activity, choose a color to identify it and an icon from those available on the platform. We will also be asked to assign an estimated time to this activity in hours or days and finally we will have a selector through which we can enable or disable the type of activity we have created.

These types of activity that we have created in this section and that we enable will be the ones that will then be available to be selected when we are creating a new event both in the calendar and in the opportunity view in the "Activities" tab.
