Go to Settings -> Opportunity Types and Processes -> Select the desired opportunity type -> Open the status -> select a substatus -> Configuration -> Add opening or closing condition.
You can configure a specific sub-status to only open or close if other states are open or closed, so that you can ensure that the configured sales flow is being followed. This will prevent your salespeople from making changes as they please, disorganizing your work and generating stress for the teams in charge ofit.

For example, before opening the installation process status, we can configure that the statuses of material coordination, coordination with health and safety teams, and installation date management must be closed.

This ensures that no installation work is started until the previous steps have been properly completed.
