What are offer types? How are they created?

From the platform, we can configure different types of photovoltaic offers, which will allow us to customize the creation of proposals for different types of opportunities within the Quoting Tool.

InfoWhere can I find this option? → Left side menu Settings Offer types.
Notes
The user who will carry out the process must have the permissions related to the offers activated.
These permissions can be found in the rates group: offer types → save offer types and delete offer types.

Once inside, we will see a menu on the right where we can create a type of offer. To do this, we must give the type of offer a name and link it to a type of opportunity. Next, we will select which modules will be active in the Quoting Tool for this type of opportunity. In this way, when we have a photovoltaic installation opportunity, we will be able to decide what type of offers (from those created for that type of opportunity) we will propose to the client.

That is, the offer types are the different types of proposal that we can propose to our clients. They are used to enable the modules that we want to have active in the Quoting Tool in each type of opportunity. The modules not configured in a type of offer will not appear, so we will not be able to work with that information.

The selection of active modules in each type of offer will allow us to include some technical data or others (on the photovoltaic installation) in the offer or proposal to the client.

The modules that we can activate are:
  1. Profitability : This will allow us to have visible values of rates, financing, customer consumption, etc. as well as the visualization of values such as the irradiation and production of the installation per day, month and/or year, after having chosen the details of the installation (self-consumption data, irradiation, savings, amortization, etc.)
  2. Layout: It will allow us to design the photovoltaic installation.
  3. Bill of Materials (BOM): Allows us to view and select the list of materials that the offer will include.
  4. Electrical design: Allows us to configure the strings and MPPT of the different inverters that the installation may have.
  5. Pricing tables: Enabling this module will allow us to change the pricing table in the offer generation process in the Quoting Tool. In addition, it will give us visibility in the BOM about the products already configured on the platform.
  6. Reports: This module will give us access to the document templates already configured in the platform through the Quoting Tool.
  7. Batteries: With this module activated, we will have the option to put batteries and do the electrical calculation.
  8. Single-line diagram : By activating this module, we will be able to represent the components and conductors of our electrical installation.
Info
Each offer type can be linked to an opportunity type. If we want the same offer type to be used for different opportunity types, we will have to duplicate the offer type and link it to another opportunity type.
Alert
By selecting some modules, others will be activated together. This is because one module cannot work without the other, which is automatically activated. For example, by activating "Profitability", the "Bill of materials" module is directly selected, since these two modules work together to create offers.
