How do external source actions work and how are they configured?
In this article, we are going to see what external source actions are and how to configure them.
Where can we find this feature? → Settings → Actions from external sourcesExternal source actions connect the different parts of the ezzing ecosystem with the platform. These are executed when an action occurs in these applications, listed below:
- Simulator
- Customer Portal
- Platform
- Installer App
- Trading simulator.
When an action is performed in one of these applications, a corresponding action is automatically triggered in the platform, and we have several action options available.
- Opportunity status change.
This action is used to open a specific substate, we can select it from the drop-down menu (the opportunity flow must have been previously designed).
- Sending email.
This action is used to send an email template to the email address we indicate (for example, user or client).
- Report generation.
This action serves to generate a report, which we can also send by email, to the address we want.
Important. We must not forget that we must configure these actions for each type of opportunity.
